Windows defender should be displayed in notification area by default

Hi All,

 

Not sure whether this is the right place to post my suggestion or not , Windows defender should be displayed in notification area by default.

This is the inbuilt antivirus feature in the windows 8 and should have easy access.

Hi,

Windows Defender does not show up in notification area in Windows 8 Consumer Preview. However, Windows Defender can be pinned to taskbar or to start menu. You may follow these steps to pin Windows Defender to taskbar or start.

a)    Press ‘Windows + W’ key on the keyboard.

b)    Type ‘Windows Defender’, right-click on ‘Windows Defender’.

c)    Select ‘Pin to start’ or ‘Pin to taskbar’.
