How do I convert GMT to local time?

I am using Excel 2003.  I have a column containing GMT (London time).  How can I convert it to local time which is GMT minus 5 hours?

Try

=A1-5/24

Hi,

Subtract 5 hours

=A1-TIME(5,0,0)
