The beginning of the end....

Its COD and its not gonna change much until next gen consoles come around. I like the gameplay of the current CODs, but Id be anxious to see how the next gen stuff will pan out. But that wont be for several years and that means we are stuck with the current COD copy/paste until then. Dunno fo sho tho.

There will always be CoD addicts then you have word of mouth which would provoke non-addicts to buy, I will never pay a (Extra) Monthly fee. If they do this monthly fee crap for the CoDs to come, The popularity will definitely drop.

im starting to lose interest in this game especially when they hardly change anything in the game.when i have other things to worry about this game isnt on my top priority, i have to make sure whatever amount of money i earn this summer will last me 8 months or so during school.

I think we can stop speculating on CoD: Elite. Other than the cost the site pretty much tells you what people can expect and what's included. All I can hope for now is that MW3 doesn't turn out to be just like MW2, that's a bad thing imo.

Activi$ion has proven throughout time that they will make the largest profits possible as fast as possible, which in turn kills whatever is generating their revenue. The short term greed hinders what could actually be a long term profit generating venture. Activision prefers to have a checking account instead of a retirement fund.

In summary, yes CoD has peaked. It's showing the same old signs of a decline and the harder Activi$ion milks it, the faster the deterioration will occur.

I was reading THIS and THIS over breakfast this morning, and frankly, the more I read, the less I'm interested in this game.

team perks? what were the creators of this game all dropped too many times as a baby? thats almost the dumbest thing ive seen lately.

Yay! stopping power... not really. And what on earth makes people impervious to flashbangs all of the sudden? I know this is all rumored right now, but it's probably not too far from the truth after seeing all the stupid things they did with MW2. They remove stupid things only to replace them with more stupid things. I know it's early but damn! The more I see the more discouraging the game seems to be getting. I'll have my fingers crossed, but my hopes won't be high on this one, especially after reading those articles.

The more I find out about MW3 the less likely I am to buy it.

same really, sad it was a fun game in 2007 and every year after it went downhill.
