region purchase restrictions?

If your physical region and account region don't match, you will most likely encounter issues with purchasing and downloading from the Marketplace.

Well I guess it could be maybe somethings handled differently post the new dash but, I haven't ever had that problem before and have purchased items and downloaded them abroad. I guess I wont know for sure until I get back home.

this is with call of duty  blackops and WAW, halo games, and gears of war it isn't new

its just with games that have certain topics

ok thanks  but, interestingly enough i got it to DL 100% 2x now but both times as soon as I went to the recent game etc it showed then disappeared and when I went to memory and looked it up it showed as full content but corrupted. May want to check and make sure that the game image isn't bad or something otherwise ill try again when i get back to the states.

happens if you initate the download while in the US or asking a family membership and download it out of region

(then it still a valid region error just happens at 99%)

there is no work around you need ot be physically in the US for US locked content
