Recently, I noticed a charge to my Microsoft account that I didn't make for $74.99. I contacted Microsoft about this, and the man I spoke to had no idea the product I was charged for. He said that it could be a matter of account compromise, my account would be suspended temporarily, and that their Investigation Team would monitor the account for any outside activity during this time. A refund would be issued if the claim was legitimate. He said that it would take up to seven days to complete the investigation. I made the claim on Tuesday.
I was just curious if someone from that branch could give me an update on how long it would take for the issue to be resolved. Any assistance would be welcomed!
