Getting "Can't download" when dowload is at 100 percent.

Hi.

So I've recently bought my xbox about a week ago, I registered my account to US being in Europe myself, loading ms points on it went smooth and also purchasing the game I was after "Red dead redemption". Trouble started when I downloaded it though, it would dl to 100 percent then I get the "Can't download" error and it stops, on the hard drive it says I have the game fully downloaded but it's corrupted, tried everything on the "Can't download" sticky, about to give up on it, any help would be great.

Have you tried making an local account in your actual region and purchasing the game that way?

Some content on the XBL Marketplace is region restricted. That means if you are out of region you will not be able to access or use it. Since you have a US account but actually live in the EU, if the content is region restricted you would need to physically be in the US to download it.

 

Otherwise you need to create a EU account (for the region you are in), if your region is not in the list of countries with Live service then you are completely out of luck, add region specific ms points to it and download the content. So long as you don't change consoles the other accounts can share the DLC, avatar items excluded. (the account does not need to be Gold)

ok this is because the red dead redemption dlc if different from the country you are in make sure if you are in the us your are using a us console and the dlc are us
