GEARS OF WAR 2 DATA WIPED FOR NO REASON

There's nothing you can do but to go for level 100 from level 1. Not even epic can do anything because game info is not stored on servers.

There will still be plenty of xp event to come for Gears of War 2. There might be one for July 4th.

Maybe it's because you cheated,

1st: Take off Caps lock, it does not get your point around anymore than it would using no caps.

2nd: You more than likely glitched your way to 99 then thought you would be sneaky and level up to 100 normally and thought Ms/Epic wouldn't notice.

3rd: If you did not actually glitch then I do apologize in advance and will have to inform you that there is no way to recover your data and it was lost in some freak accident, but the likelyhood of that happening is extremely low.

Have you cleared your cache at all?

If you clear your cache and go into multiplayer at any point without updating I think you reset your level.  I did it once, purposely.

i can tell you now i did not cheat, but elite rampant you might be right because my son (only 4) decided to cancel the update and play horde

but it still doesnt change the fact it got wiped how many other people has this happened to and they still havent fixed it this is just pathetic but if they dont sort this iam never buying another epic game againgears 3 can go f*%k

I LIKE GEARS OF WAR 2. I've achieved level 100 because of the 7x because of all the XP events. Yes, I reset myself when I get to 100.

I'm sure you'll get your rank back on the next XP event.

The same thing happened to me. I just sucked it up and kept gaining XP.

They fixed the problem pretty much, but you have got to remember that the leveling system was not added until TU3. This has happened to many people, including me, intentionally or unintentionally.
