Avatar not updating inside games

Can you log into Xbox.com and verify that you can see the changes there too?

If not, go to the Games Hub and hit refresh (press the ellipsis, "...", to bring up the option) on the Avatar a couple times with an active Internet connection.

Let us know if that changes anything.

Thank you for your support. I have checked Xbox.com and I can see my updated avatar there. About Games Hub, as mentioned previously, I can see my updated avatar there also. I have also used refreshed method few times but still I can not see the updated avatar inside those games.

OK, that's weird, so it seems to be a game issue - they're not pulling the most updated information available.

Can you open up either Minesweeper or Sudoku please? They're free games, and both display your Avatar on the first page. Report back with whether it's the most recent version of the Avatar, or if like in the other games it's an older version.

Just for reference (because it would rule out a further possible reason for all this), is the version I can see here the most recent and updated version?

Red t-shirt, denim 3/4 lengths, gloves and watch?

One more issue I observed in Windows 8, Games section. I have attached a link to the picture along with this reply.

As you can see, my updated avatar in Red shirt and my old avatar in Blue shirt.

As per my conclusion, problem is not with those games, but may be some other issue as you can see in the picture.

In the screenshot, the reason the smaller icon has the (older) blue shirt is that this does not update automatically. It is your gamerpic, and reflects what your Avatar was wearing when you took the picture. If you want to change the Avatar in the gamerpic you should go to Xbox.com/My Account and beneath your Avatar choose 'Edit My Avatar'. On the next screen you can choose 'gamer picture' where you can take a new 'image' of your Avatar, now wearing the updated clothing.

So it seems for some reason the Avatar in the games is related to the gamerpic... I did not know that!

But as soon as you showed me that screenshot I knew why that picture there was wrong, it's good that it solved everything :-)
