xbox replacement

Just wanted to know if anyone knows xbox's policies on console replacements. I currently have my xbox being repaired under warranty and this is the fourth time in three years that I've had to send it out. Outside of the inconvenience of not being able to play my xbox for about a month at a time, I was wondering if anyone knew if microsoft would just replace my xbox with a new console with me being a loyal customer or would they again try to fix the problem and send me my original xbox back?

If they can fix the problem on your old xbox they'll just send your old console back with the replacement parts installed. If not then you'll get a replacement console. There's no loyal customer scheme when it comes to repairs.

The replacement console would be same model or equivalent

Four times in three years. I'd have to say you should try to take better care of your console(s). Whilst the console has been known for hardware failures, we can not ignore ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS within our home.

 

-do not place your console in an enclosed space.

-do not place your console in direct sunlight.

-do not place your console near any other heat source(s).

-if you smoke and/or have pets you should be dusting your console every few days.

-do not place your console on carpet or any other soft surface.

-all of the above apply to the power supply brick as well.

 

I practice all of the above for my console and to this day have not had a single problem with my console in the three plus years I have owned it.
