xbox wireless ,when playing games it keeps lagging and is so frustrating ,is it a problem with xbox or my service provider

Router? Distance between router and xbox? Who is your ISP? What speed package are you paying for? If you go with a wired connection does it still lag?

Lag is caused by packet loss.. the packetloss could be caused by a poor wreless connection or possibly your firewall. make sure the correct ports are open on your router.

Go to: www.portforward.com
Select router list and select your router make and model.
Choose 'Click here to skip this advertisement' on the top right.
Choose 'Xbox live 360' from the port list menu.
When you are in your router settings make sure your MTU is set to 1365 or higher.
