Windows 8 supporterà i giochi per Xbox 360?

Magari....

Insideris, portale di notizie informatiche, ha riportato che, secondo alcune fonti interne a Microsoft, la prossima versione del sistema operativo più diffuso sul globo annovererà tra le sue funzioni anche il supporto ai titoli per Xbox 360.
Per poter fruire dei titoli, sarà richiesto di iscriversi al servizio Game for Windows, l'omologo del Live per personal computer e non sarà possibile il cross gaming con gli utenti console. Questo, sempre a detta della gola profonda, per il diverso sistema di controllo previsto sotto Pc, anche se in verità da anni esistono titoli per computer che supportano il pad originale della 360.
La mossa sarebbe orientata ad estendere la vita della console della casa di Redmond, rendendo i titoli più appetibili ad un maggiore bacino di utenza.

Quindi mi comprerò un PC con un hardware dieci volte più potente della console (pagandolo ovviamente in proporzione), sceglierò di pagare per giocare on-line (ma solo con gli altri utenti PC) a giochi progettati per una console?

Il primo passo è stato a breve il sito Games for Windows LIVE verrà chiuso e unito a quello Xbox.

Xbox 360 utilizza come processore un PowerPC che non è compatibile con i normali PC x86 e x64 che noi possediamo. Se faranno un'emulazione via software le performance ne risentirebbero moltissimo secondo me, a meno che i nuovi giochi non siano compilati o ricompilati anche per le architetture Intel o Amd.

mah questa news sa di bufala, è vero che l'intenzione di MS è quello di unificare, già adesso sul mio profilo posso vedere i giochi Games for Windows Live che sto giocando su PC, e quando il sito Gamesf for Windows e quello Xbox Live si uniranno il segnale della "convergenza" che microsoft vuole fare sarà ancora più evidente...

Ho dei dubbi su come un gioco Xbox possa girare bene su una macchina PC di fascia media...

mi chiedo a che serva.....cioè se io ho un pc xchè devo comprare i giochi x la 360 che sono gli stessi che trovo su pc solo che costano di più e hanno una grafica più scarsa? l'unica cosa carina sarebbe il cross-platform,cioè che gli utenti 360 e pc possano giocare online sugli stessi server,ma è l'unica cosa che non mettono! secondo me è una bufala....

mah...io non vorrei avere il gioco online cross-platform in quanto in molti giochi (soprattutto gli FPS e i TPS) gli utenti PC con mouse e tastiera sarebbero troppo avvantaggiati!

può anche darsi che MS insieme all'uscita di Windows 8 tirerà fuori la 720 e chissà che la sua architettura non si (ri)avvicini a quella dei pc...
