Unchangeable Content/Restriction Settings

You must be 18 to download Mature rated content. If your account is not 18 you can not download it no matter what your settings are. If you are 18, you need to promote your account to an adult account.

Demos do not count as purchased content, and therefore are not affected by the Safety Settings. If you are on a Child Account, you cannot download M- or Un-rated demos or trailers at any time.

Well the problem is that i am of legal age because the account used to be my younger brothers. He had it (the xbox) taken from him and it became mine after he got a PS3, so i kept the account because some of my games where on there as well. Now is there a way to show that i am of legal age even though its a child account under HIS bday? Or do i have to create another account and attempt to merge it or something? Idk :/

Once an account is created, the age cannot be changed. When the age on the account is 18 then it can be promoted to 18.

There is also no way of creating another account and merging it with this account.
