Things you have tried: Portforwarding, DMZ, using old router as a gateway and connecting to it since it used to work. Was on phone with Netgear for nearly an hour and they couldn't fix it. Contacted ISP and they gave me a link to portforwarding the modem, which
didn't work at all.

I've talked to several of my friends as well, none of them could fix it, although they all tried and even gave me the settings they were using to try.
