Slow install of disk games on my hard drive

My xbox one is taking forever to install my disk games on my hard drive. Literally 2 hours and I've got 1 percent install on cod ghosts. Can anyone help

Probably didn't wait for it to finish with everything it needed to do in the background. Plus Ghosts is over 40GB and bluray drives aren't very fast.

That seems... odd. Forza 5 was around 84% after an hour and I had been playing the game after 15%.

Not really. There is only one hard drive and if multiple things need to access it you get significant slow down.

Lots of people are having the same problem (me included) but there is a possible fix for it:

I'm at 43% of Call of Duty after about 20 minutes...I was stuck at 0% for 5-8 minutes, but it's been moving steadily since then.  Cannot play currently.

Its probably downloading the updates for the game at the same time its installing. If thats the case, its probably your slow internet connection (unless im wrong) and the fact millions of users are also downloading the updates for their games.

That's trash peter. I tried disconnecting my internet service and power cycling down my xbox one. Then turned it on and tried installing my game without internet connection. I got message saying I had to have internet connection in order to install game on hard drive. Idk. Microsoft needs to fix this

Been having this problem as well but the 'disconnecting from live' isn't working. it took me literally over 24 hours to install Battlefield 4 and it's driving me crazy. Any other help would be appreciated.
