My family did not purchase the gold family pack, in fact i am the only one who plays anything on the console at all. When i try to download any M rated content, such as the dead space 3 demo, it simply says "This account is not permitted to download content with this rating." When i get my parent account to remove me from the family, it asks for a parent email to be put in AFTER ive already been removed, or else i wont be able to play online. I want to know how i can remove myself from the family, so i can download this content.

To elaborate on Sage's question...The reason it's probably asking you for a parent email is that the account you are trying to download M rated material with is not at the age of majority in your region. www.xbox.com/.../livetou. In the US M is for mature audiences, meaning 18 years (age of majority) or older.

To check the birth data do http://account.live.com sign in there and check on the Account Summary page. BTW, changing it there won't change the date of birth now used in the Xbox system.
