FALSELY ACCUSED OF TAMPERING WITH MY XBOX BECAUSE OF A FAULTY UPDATE

    I see other customers having the same problem that I am having as far as not being able to update the system. I called in and was told the same thing that they cannot do anything because of suspicion of tampering with my console. I which I haven't done. I am waiting for them to get back to me it has been escalated to upper management. We all need to call in to their offices and let them know its just not 1 person.

That seems a little off to me. The update did include new anti-piracy features, but what error are you getting when you try to download the update?

If you have an old 360 and had to get the disc drive replaced this new update is reporting it as an illegal modification. Called Xbox live and they said buy a new one.

MS is pushing me into jtaging this xbox and no pour any more money into their bank acc. idiots.

WOW i think i have the same problem!! THEY BETTER NOT HAVE *** MY XBOX!!! I JUST BOUGHT A NEW GAME!!! I just has some update and it said i couldnt use live if i didnt accept it so obviously i did and then it came up with an update error!! Now everytime i turn on my xbox it says:

System Update Failed please contact xbox.com/support (which doesnt *** help at all!!)

then a service code!! its 11pm here so i cant b *** calling xbox right now!! but if they dont fix my xbox then im gonna b that *** pissed off!!! THERE UPDATE *** MY XBOX!!! THAT IS ***!!! U OWE ME ANOTHER XBOX MICROSOFT!!!

just call xbox and complain. telll them the updte is spewing a load of crap and want answers. i was on the phone with them all day twice! talked to 3 different people 2 being supervisors none had answers. they did say if they see more n more people complaining about this specific issues then they wil resolve this issue. cause seriously  this is *** a lot of honest people.

Wow calm down killerinstincts, chances are you have a modified xbox. Call xbox live support, rather than boasting your problems on the forums. Cap lock does not make your post anymore important.
