Big Problem with latest system update. Wireless wheels not working!!! (SERIOUS)

So since the latest system update both me and my cousin who have the same wheel (Datel Power Racer 270) have not been able to connect them to our consoles. They turn on but as soon as it connect to Player 1 or 2 it just turns off. This has only started happening since the latest update and we've tried everything to fix it but nothing works.

I'm not sure if the problem is affecting other wheels but it's clearly apparent on ours.

I would get in contact with the Datel product support, but if that fails get in touch with Microsoft support.

Pretty sure it's not a problem with the wheel. Its to do with the update. And datel have no support feature whatsoever. I need to talk to someone from microsoft/ xbox.

This is not an Xbox supported peripheral so Microsoft support will not be able to assist you with the issue.  You'll need to contact the Datel support team.  Here is their support site.

But they won't be able to assist in it? The problem has been caused by the XBL update.

You need to raise the issue with Datel as posted above. You may or may not be aware of the legal wranglings that took place between the two companies a while ago. It appears that the update removed the ability to use unsupported Datel products.

Ok i've emailed them now. Is there a chance Xbox may have disabled their products?? That would be annoying as hell if they have.

Apparently Microsoft have stopped support for the datel wireless wheel, that could be why it doesn't work anymore.

Evidently the update is also negetivley affecting the Liscenced wheels as well.  There is a huge thread going at the Forza website.  I for one will be delining the update until something is fixed.

That's ridiculous. How can they just suddenly stop allowing a product when so many people use it! If anythign they should just disable the company from making further products. Not disabling the ones that people have saved their hard earned money for! ffs

The product probably wasn't licensed to work with Xbox 360 so this is there way of fighting back.
