OneClickDigital download does not work on new computers
"An error occurred with this operation, please check your device's disk space and connection to the computer, and retry the transfer."
I have done the security update suggested by OneClickDigital.
Was able to get ONE book to download - - now same issue.
OneClickDigital says this is an issue with Windows Media Player, but why does it work on old machine and not on new ones????????????
I delete each book with Windows media Player and return it via OneClickDigital before trying to download the next book.
I even reformatted the MP3 player.
Still works fine on OLD machine.
I want to donate old machine to a friend and this is the only issue stopping me.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,
Thank you for visiting on Microsoft Community Forums.
As per the description I see that the software one click download is not working on your new computer which has Windows 7.
To help you better please answers these questions:
1. Do you receive any particular error message?
2. Is there enough space on the device?
3. Have you made any changes on the computer prior to the issue?
I would suggest you refer the methods provided to fix the issue:
Method 1: Uninstall and Re-install the software.
Uninstall or change a program
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/windows7/Uninstall-or-change-a-program
Method 2: perform chkdsk:
a. Open the Start Menu and click on the Computer button on the right dark side.
b. Right click the hard disk drive that you want to check, and click on Properties.
c. Click on the Tools tab, and click on the Check now button under Error-checking.
d. In the new wizard click on Start.
Disclaimer: While performing chkdsk on the hard drive if any bad sectors are found on the hard drive when chkdsk tries to repair that sector if any data available on that might be lost.

There is NOTHING on the MP3 device - - it has over 3.5 G free space because I delete each book read before I download the next one. According to OneClickDigital it has to do with Media Player not handling the DRM correctly, but it happens even after doing a complete reformat on the MP3 player, so there should be no DRM information on it.
Error message is always that there is no disk space available
Are you suggesting I remove and reinstall Media Player??? Not sure how I would reinstall that.
Still working just fine on the old machine so has to be something to do with NEW versions of Windows 7 and/or media player as best I can tell.

Hi,
did you by chance get this figured out? I ran into the same problem and it turned out that I needed to have itunes or in your case Windows Media Player open before you open the oneclick program and do the transfer.
I hope this works for you!
