how to repair a pnpui.dll error

I get this message when I try to connect my camera:

C:\Windows\System32\pnpui.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.

Do you know how to solve this problem?

I would suggest you to refer the link to use the system file checker tool (sfc) to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files in Windows 7.
