Method 1:
You may try launching the games in a
clean boot state and check if it works:

Reset the computer to start as normal after troubleshooting is done. Refer step 3.
To help troubleshoot error messages and other issues, you can start Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows
8 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This kind of startup is known as a "clean boot." A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
Method 2:
Try launching the game from the following location
C:Program Files/Microsoft Games/Solitaire/Solitaire.exe
Right click on the Solitaire.exe file and click “Run as Administrator”.
