How do I resolve a flash ocx error?

When my PC is idle with a program running or at a website,ie Pogo.com; I will have a 'flash ocx' window pop up. What is it and how do I fix it? I haven't had it for awhile and the only way I got rid of it before was to back system up 7 days.

Hi

1.     Do you remember making any changes to the system prior to this issue?

Flash.ocx is a flash plug-in that is responsible for the adobe flash player to work on the system.

It might be that the flash player is gone corrupted. I would suggest reinstall it again on the system and check whether the issue is resolved.

Before installing Adobe flash player on the system, make sure that all the previous versions of Adobe flash player have been uninstalled from the system. Download the utility from the website mentioned below, install it and run it on the system.

Step 1: Uninstall Flash Player

Once you have done uninstalling Adobe flash player,  then try to download the latest Adobe Flash player from the Adobe website.

Step 2: install Flash Player.

a)      Click on the above mentioned link.

b)      Download and install Adobe flash player.
