GWXUX.exe - Application Error

Hello - Today I tried clicking on the "Get Windows 10" icon in the task bar and I got the following error. I also tried right click --> "Check your update status" and also got the same thing. Running out of ideas after some unfruitful googling. Any ideas?

When such errors occur, usually reinstalling or doing a repair installation is the best choice of action. However, we can try to repair these files and check if it helps. To do so, refer to the steps below:

  1. Open the start page and type "cmd"
  2. Right click on the command prompt and click on "Run as administrator".
  3. Type the following commands and hit enter after each.

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

 

Once you run these commands, restart the system and try the update again.
