From this post:

It seems that it is really the WIFI Card that is causing the issue for being stuck at the Windows Logo Screen. Havent tried replacing a WIFI Card yet, but looking to do so when I have the time for it. Meanwhile, waiting for MS or Samsung to come out with patch for us to upgrade without any issues.

currently there is no other solution but to physically remove or replace the WIFI Card with other brands other than Broadcom so that the issue can be resolved.

Not really recommended to do it if you do not have any hardware background.

Right now, like you, I am also waiting for solutions by MS or Samsung to resolve this as this is not a small case affecting small number of users, but is quite a big one affecting a substantial amount of Samsung users. MS or Samsung have to quickly resolve this issue before more ranting comes from users on the ground.

SW Updater only works with newer devices, for mine, Samsung don't even support the laptop (RC410) as they claimed it's "too old".. basically that software just sits as a white elephant in my laptop. Now I have to place my bet on Microsoft instead...

I have a RV511 and exactly the same problem. I've been able to install w10 by removing de wifi-bluethooth internal pcie card.

After install w10 i've tried to plug the card again and it worked a couple hours, even restarting the computer several times, but sudently it hangs again when system is restarting. Now i've removed definitively the internal wifi and its working well with W10 and a usb wifi dongle.

Has anyone been able to resolve this issue without removing the WLAN card? I am having the same issue on an rv511. I have been waiting for an update from either samsung or microsoft but it doesn't appear to be coming! Has anyone recieved a useful reply from Microsoft?
