Cortana search box is white

My cortana search box is white,no black as normal.What can I do to make it black again?

Same here. Just turned white today as if this was an intentional change from an update or something.

Same problem for me. WIndows10 pro, no changes made related to this. Yesterday search box was dark, now it's turned white (pretty damn annoying contrast). Last updates were installed a week ago (2016-09-02). At least what it shows in updates history. Color of search box background can be changed using high contrast settings, bet too hard to adjust everything else.

Cortina box just turned white today for me too.  Windows 10 Home, Version 1607, OS Build 14393.105.

I use Windows 10 Home Anniversary update,and I installed an update for windows defender 1-2 hours ago

Same here.  White Cortona Search box.  I just looked down and saw it.  This is the Anniversary Build for Windows 10 1607.  My dark theme background for other Windows 10 things seems intact.  Did we get some stealth update today?

I have the same problem since yesterday and this morning i've made a clean install of the os for checking if the problem could be solved: at the beginning cortana was fine but turned white and the taskbar animation stopped working once again after restarting the system for completing all the windows updates ( Windows 10 Pro Anniversary Update on Surface Pro 3 - fully update )

I have the same problem too! Mine turned white JUST this morning. I'm guessing since so many people are experiencing this at the same time, Microsoft have probably accidentally released a bug or something.

(P.S I am using the Windows 10 Anniversary Update which I made a clean install of just last night).
