Where is Solitaire in Windows 10

Recently installed Windows 10 and found my spider solitaire game from Windows 7 had disappeared.  Today I find that the icon for spider solitaire in Windows 10 is completely missing!  It was there a couple days ago but now it is gone!!

Thank you for posting your query at Microsoft community.

Solitaire, Minesweeper, and Hearts Games that come pre-installed on Windows 7 will be removed as part of installing the Windows 10 upgrade. Microsoft has released our version of Solitaire and Minesweeper called the “Microsoft Solitaire Collection” and “Microsoft Minesweeper.”
Click on the search tab in the taskbar> Type Microsoft Solitaire Collection> click to run.

I do not want to play on-line games, or have to be connected to the internet to play the installed games I had with Win-7.

I have not found Win-10 to be of much use installed on a desktop PC. Win-7 was pushing it.

Microsoft Solitaire Collection is a Xbox installation/collaboration program. I don't want to even start learning Xbox. I don't own one, and don't know how to get it started on this PC (if it's installed).

Xbox won't allow players to access the 'games' without establishing an on-line presence (Sign-up / sign-in, or 'play as a guest'). You click 'Guest' nothing happens except the stupid error pane won't go away. Close the whole thing down by clicking the "X" in the top corner.

I want a game collection just exactly like I had on Windows-7.

I agree I am retired and do not want to have to go online to play solitaire. I have one PC out of 3 on win 10. I will not upgrade the others. If I play games I want it to be local.  The less time on the internet the better to much trouble out there.

You can end up messing up the password controlling access to your computer if you try looking at the Microsoft Solitaire Collection online. Restoring to what you had before you looked is a problematic scenario.

The real help you can provide, is to give back the useful games which came with W7, and get rid of the useless collection with W10.

I want to play good old ordinary solitaire on my pc, without any internet connections, not these strange variations you have now dreamed up.
