Windows dvd burner in Windows 10.

Original Title: windows dvd burner

I used windows dvd maker and burner many times in 7 and was very happy. now it seems I don't have the burner software in 10. I spent many hours creating a movie (40 mins long) and now I need to burn a dvd . What do I do?

Before assisting further, did you check if you are able to burn the video using Windows Media Player?

 

Windows 10 has a built in player/burner called Windows Media Player. To open Windows Media Player in your device, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Press Windows logo key on the keyboard and type Windows Media Player.

  2. Select the top most search result and follow the on-screen instructions.

 

Refer to the link below on Burn a CD or DVD in Windows Media Player and check if it helps (Applies to Windows 10 also):

After opening the Windows Media Player, follow the instructions from Step 2 under Burn a data CD or data DVD from the link above.
