Word (office 365 version) templates

Is there a way to create Word Templates in Office 365? I need to be able to store some templates on the OneDrive for use in Word online.

Thanks

Hi Andy,

this is possible. simply go to https://templates.office.com/ and download what ever the templates you required and save it on one drive. you can open them using the Word Online,

Thanks.

Hi Andy,

From the description, it seems you'd like to load Word templates stored in your OneDrive for Business library to work with Word Online.
If there's any misunderstanding, please correct me.

You may find many Online templates when you click Word Online icon in Office 365 portal.

However, if you'd like to use your own templates in Office Online, please refer to the following information:
a. Although we can save the template files directly to the library, the files are editable.
Since Office Online automatically save the changes of your documents, there's no option to save the current document as a template.

b. Given this situation, for your requirement, you may consider adding multiple Office templates to a document library in SharePoint Online.

hi andy,

thanks for your update.

please click return to classic onedrive in the bottom-left corner of the onedrive page you provided.

if you still can’t find the library ribbon after returning to classic onedrive, please click the settings icon like a gear in the top right corner and select show ribbon. then, check the result.

if there is anything unclear, please let us know and we will continue to discuss the situation based on the update.

regards,
shirley
