I have a problem with Office 2016 for Mac Arabic writing.

Hey, whenever I write in Arabic the letters don't merge.

How can I solve this problem?

Hello Saeed & John,

I am going to talk about option B, you need to open any windows PC that have office, open new document, write something in Arabic and make sure that you change the text direction to RTL. Delete the arabic Text. Then Save the file. Then go to your Mac, open that blank file using Word, then from the top menu, click file, then Save as Template,

Then, every time you want to create Arabic word from your mac, go to file, New From Template

Then Chose Arabic as you see in the above screenshot, then you can write anything you want in the template file without any problem. See below screenshot

If you do not have Windows PC, I can share with you the template named Arabic, you can copy it and paste it in

Mac/Users/xxxx/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content.localized/Templates.localized

Note the xxxx is your Mac User name, and UBF8T346G9.Office may change.

Please let me know if I help more in this.

Thanks
