OWA create meeting automatically when i discard pop up of set up a new meeting

Regarding to your problem, you can try the following suggestions and check whether it works for you:

1.  In stead of clicking close icon to discard the meeting, please try clicking the Discard button to see if it makes any difference.

2.  Open the browser in InPrivate mode and try again.

3.  Clear the browser history and cache.

4.  If convenient, you can do the same test in another browser like Edge and check the result.

  I still got this issue. i will make step more clear for you as below.

1/ make a recurring meeting like this. and open any add-in, in this case i select OneNote Add-in.

2/ After open OneNote Add-in, i do something on this Add-in like click any button on this Add-in and then i click x icon to discard this meeting.

3. click ok to discard and get the same issue.

i think may be this is a bug from MS and need a confirmation.
