I bought 800 Microsoft points, and then I bought Burnout 3 Take down. It was the best driving game on the Xbox! However when it was done downloading and I tried to play it, an error message popped up and said "The game couldn't start. Try downloading the game again. For more help, visit www.xbox.com/support." So then I tried to redownload it. I even deleted it and redownloaded it. The download was 2.38 GB so it took a long time and that pissed me off. I downloaded it for about 5 times and it still never worked. I tried and tried everything I thought of. Move it to USB, Go online for support, Look on youtube for a solution, AND NOTHING WORKED! I am really mad because the game description said it was tested to work on the 360 and it doesn't and worst of all, there's no refunds! Please help.

Not sure then. Usually when a compatible game doesn't work, it's a hard drive issue (either no hard drive or it's a knock-off). But if yours was a brand new MS hard drive, it should work.

If you can access another Xbox game (rent or borrow one from a friend) and try it, that could help know whether or not it's the hard drive or the game. If it's the hard drive, then you'd have to get a new one. MS hard drives are required for original Xbox games. If it's the game itself, you'd have to try contacting support.

What size of hard drive and who made it? The Emulator for the original Xbox will fail is you use it in a non-Microsoft branded hard drive.

The HD is 250 GB and I don't know who mad it but its a knockoff because it dosen't say microsoft on the side.
