MW3 Elite download error 800700E8

I've had this error code pop up since I bought the hardened edition of the game on release night. Whenever I redeem my code from gamestop it happens. Obviously have not redeemed the code yet... What on earth is this and why does it keep happening? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have contacted the COD Elite support team and they told me to give you this link: activision.custhelp.com/.../home2.php

and from there to either use the telephone number or the live chat.

They will then try to help you resolve this issue.
