Female Gamers And Duke Nukem Forever. [Locked]

Now after 12 years since DNF came out it turned out to be poor but female gamers ended up buying or renting it and after playing it, some of them did not liked it at all, why did they minded getting this game anyway? Were their reactions the same to this video?:

The video seemed very rehearsed and scripted.  The game demo didn't make me want to buy it but I will rent it.

Ugh... OP is from Toronto as well.... Maybe I should go pay him a visit and find out why he constantly has to talk about female gamers. I'll bring my brother along as well since he is a police officer.

[/quote]That's because it was rehearsed and scripted.  "Dorkly" (the producers of that video) are an off-shot of "College Humor".  That video was never meant to be taken seriously.

Grr. This has annoyed me.


Not the video, but this thread.. I'm trying to be nice here but I do not appreciate your questioning as to why females got this game. Maybe they liked the previous Duke Nukems or they like video games and wanted to try it? Females CAN like video games that are aimed at males, you know. Or shall I just go back to playing zombie games and Cooking Mama?

Sorry, but this thread's just a bit silly. Questioning why female gamers buy a certain game is, quite bluntly, stupid. We don't all live by gender stereotypes. We don't all play our zombie games and Cooking Mama etc.


Anyway, to answer your question, no. Actually, I know another female gamer who knows of the content and she likes the idea of it.
