Dead Space 1 or 2?

DEFINITELY get it, I think DS2 is way better but regardless, if you enjoyed the 1st game you will enjoy the 2nd no doubt. Everything is turned up a notch. I've played the campaign on DS2 atleast 10 times now and I know a few other on this forum who have done the same, I'm sure Thookins will post soon. But yeah definitely buy it, it's well worth it. Plus they even added a multiplayer if your into that kind of thing.

As tC said, everything is turned up a notch, while still keeping the survival horror aspects.  Graphics are better of course.  There are more holy *** moments.  Some people say there was no story and that it was lame. Well they expand on that and by the end of the game we are left with even more anxiousness towards the possibility of a third game.  

3 hours into the second and i really like it. Not as scary as the first, because i don't feel so weak.

I think it's also the fact that you know what to expect since you have played the first one and been through the nightmare already. But as long as your enjoying it, that's what's matters. Do you have a favorite weapon? Or weapon(s) you like to keep on you?

Been running with the plasma cutter. Had it in my head that there was another cheevo for just using that gun. i liked the rail gun and ripper from the first. Been wanting to use something different, but I keep buying nodes. Will any of this carry obver on my next play through.

Yes they will carry over, IMO opinion you should definitely try the Seeker Rifle, when it's upgraded it's very very deadly. 1-2 shots kills everything pretty much. I always use that as my primary and Force Gun as secondary.

Yep Deadspace 2 is better. In deadspace 1 we saw a lot of trains for each chapter but the chapters in deadspace 2 flow together, I barely noticed them go by since was having some much fun.

Yeah I love that about 2, I barely noticed when I first played and pretty much after chapter 7 I never know exacty where most chapters end up until 11 or 12.
