Can microsoft ban me for using DNS server?

Im not familiar with the DNS server thing, but if you have to ask if youre gonna get banned maybe you shouldnt be doing it. Just my opinion.

DNS is Domain Name System server you really can use any DNS number out there at your own risk. you can use the one from your ISP or you can use public ones like from google.
but no they can't ban you for using another DNS server.

I use Google as my DNS server. I have been for years, I dont think MS cares who you use as a server.

If you are using one to hack the game then you could get banned by Rockstar. They could push for a console ban.

Im pretty sure its R* who ban you unless you are hosting it yourself in which Microsoft would take action (console ban)
