Black and White maps?

So I was tooling around in H3 multiplayer, and one of the zombie gametypes (Braaaaains on Blackout, using the Mythic disc from ODST) came up. I got a little excited, time to maybe nab the two achievements for killing 2 humans/zombies... I was fiddling around with my armor while the veto option was still up. Lo and behold, game starts, everything was in BLACK AND WHITE! wtf? Totally threw me of what little game I have in H3, I even blasted another human right in the face cause I thought he was a zombie! 

 

Did I do that? 

 

Has anyone else seen this glitch or whatever it was?

On the downloadable maps, you can place effects on the map which change the colouring, so on the blackout zombie map, there is an effect to make it black and white.  It's not a glitch, it's black and white for everyone, if you go into forge, you should be able to place the item which affects the colouring of map.

What what what? I never knew there were zombie maps! I have all the DLC for this game. Do I have to pick a certain game type in order to play them? I usually just play slayer.

Hey thanks for the info, I've seen the color effects in Forge, I just never expected to see it pop up randomly in multiplayer.
