xbox live status code 80072ee2

what the hell is going on with my xbox! i downloaded, the beach bum pack for gta 5 earlier in the day and have been playing fine but allnof a sudden, my conection goes down and i cant get it back!  i can see my friends online. i cant connect to the marketplace! what to do??

Greetings Freeborn!

Try the following steps and let us know how that goes and we'll go from there.

Go to Xbox network settings and select Configure Network. Select the Additional Settings tab and select Restore network settings to factory defaults. Turn off your console.

Power off your modem and router (if this is not a single device) for two minutes. Power on the modem and wait one minute for it to connect properly. Power on the router and wait another minute.

Turn on the Xbox. If you connect wireless with your console; reconfigure wireless settings. If you connect with a wired solution; go to Xbox network settings and select Test Xbox LIVE Connection.

You may also consider clearing your Xbox system cache. Here's how!

Post back and let us know how that goes.

No, unfortunately this hasn't worked. I still cannot connect. I either receive error code 8015190E or the one I used as mmy title.

More suggestions would be great Ta.

Howdy Thor,

Sorry to hear you're having issues connecting to Xbox Live.

If you haven't already, I would definitely recommend trying our Can't Connect troubleshooter. It has a couple of different solutions based on what you're seeing.

This is not an official support solution, but I would also recommend checking our the Unofficial Guide to Live. Shad0wmanUK has some good info there on connecting to Live using a Home Hub.

Please keep us posted on how everything goes.

I suspect that the BT HomeHub has UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) turned on by default, but just to be safe, access the BT HomeHub's utility interface and make sure UPnP is ticked enable.

Try change the wireless channel manually on the BT HomeHub, to determine if a different frequency improve the wireless signal strength.

When you have devices or close-by wireless network(s) that transmits over the same frequency as your router broadcast, the surrounding airwaves can sometimes easily become "crowded". This is why you could try experiment with the wireless channels on your router. You should focus on the non-overlapping channels, 1, 6, 11.

Do you have a wireless headset (e.g. Turtle Beach) with a digital RF transmitter?

Keep us posted!
