Xbox Guide constinctly is popping up and closing over and over

I spent an hr will live support through chat and the guy Ernest all he came up with was to try to clear the Cache from your hard drives. I took my one harddrive out and it still did it. And the xbox is an arcade so its got an internal harddrive. So he told me to clear the cache from both hard drives and turn it back on and it didn't fix it so he just left the chat. WTF your supposed to be support but you don't know how to help people fix there glitch crappy systems. Any know how to fix this?

Hey Helm, Sorry to hear about the issue you are having, but let me see if I get this correctly. The Xbox Guide keeps popping up just as if you had hit the center Xbox button on the controller? Correct? If that is correct, my question is, have you tried using a different controller to see if the issue still occurs because it could be a fault controller sending a signal to the Xbox as if you were hitting the Xbox Button on the controller. Also if you could further describe the Xbox you have.. Is it the older Xbox 360 (White) or the new Xbox 360S?

Take your disc out and clean it. Simple as that.
