Sign in with no HDD?

Hi, is it possible to recover a profile and sign into an xbox without the hard drive?

Can you get all the features such as online play, parties etc?

Thanks

Well first of all you can't even sign in if you don't have some sort of storage device, even for online play. (So you won't be able to recover a gamertag without a storage device)

So you will at least need some sort of storage devices such as a HDD, USB flash drive or the old Memory Unit.

So for example you have a USB flash drive and your gamertag on there, you can log on to Xbox LIVE and play online without having a HDD plugged in.

Some games require a HDD for certain online features also, the Halo games for example.

Just whack any old flash drive in there, format it, (ignore the warning about it not meeting the performance standard, that's just MS trying to get you to buy their expensive, official one) and you're dandy.

Lol conspiracies, i have a few that have past the test that are cheap falsh drives. I would not trust one with my data or account if it failed the test, but each to thier own.
