Removing Passcode

I have just renewed my xbox live but I let it laps for a month. Now when I sign in I have to recover my gamer tag to let me play xbox live is there any way I can get the pass code of my console so I don't have to recover all the time.

Do get rid of the Pass code for your account you need to go to account management and go to "Xbox LIVE Pass code" and then enter your current pass code and then disable it

That depends, are you referring to the Xbox LIVE passcode (to sign in to the account) or the Parental Passcode (download content, change settings)? The LIVE passcode can simply be reset by recovering your account, or going into the menu and disabling it (requires the passcode). The Parental passcode will not be affected by recovering, and can only be disabled by knowing the code or answering the security question.

Kitty: please see my above post. There are two different passcodes on the console. What they do and how to remove them are completely different. Please let me know which you are having trouble with.

That sounds like the account passcode to me. Don't quote me on this, but I think to get that passcode off you can't just do a dry recovery.

If it is the LIVE passcode, you can either remove it by recovering your account (if you don't remember the passcode) or after signing in, going back to the menu, entering the code, and disabling it.
