Please help!

Hello, thanks for attempting to help me. My Xbox 360 console will not broadcast any sort of Video/Picture at all. I have checked the cords, they are plugged in correctly. The console will turn on, but the controller will not connect. If you have any advice, please let me know.

Ok, try the following:

- Using another cord. Also try a different type of cord (if your using HDMI, try using SD cords)

- A different port/input on the TV. Also make sure the TV is on the right input to begin with (ex, HDMI 1 and not HDMI 2)

- Another device on the same port. A DVD player, another game system, heck a VCR will work if it;s in SD.

It might be the cord, but I'm inclined to not think so because usually if your cord has issues you get the 4 red lights (not to be confused with the infamous 3 red lights) indicating av problems. More than likely it's either the port on the television not receiving signals or the 360 itself. If it is indeed the 360 (another device on the same port works fine) then you'll need to either return it to the store, or if you've had it longer, set up a repair with Microsoft.
