No Achievement or Message Notifications

I have recently noticed that i no longer receive any notifications when i get an achievement, message from a friend, or a game invite. Any idea what the issue may be? I have searched around but i have not seen any solutions, and i do not see any settings on the Xbox itself that could change this.

Hey Mantis.

Sign in on your console with the account having the problem.
Press the xbox guide button (Large circular button in the centre of the pad).
Scroll right to 'preferences'.
Select 'notifications' and change the setting to what you want them to be..

That should do it.

Ok, this is simply being ignored. It is NOT to do with turning on or off the notifications. My notifications are ON and yet I do not recieve them from certain people. Game invites, messages, the lot... I leave the game and go to dashboard, and suddnely the messages appear.... But when in game, neither messages or game invites appear.....

Sort it out!

I am having the same problem, no game invites or messages, don't know about achievement though.

Go to the 'communicating with other users' support forum, there is a sticky post about issues people might be having with friend, message, invite notifications not showing up.
