Minecraft coming to 360 - with Kinect support!!

That's awesome. Have heard so much about Minecraft and great that we can get our hands on it! I wonder how Kinect will be involved? Will you have to physically dig to unearth goodies? :P

I'm really curious to see how this turns out too. I've never played Minecraft before (probably one of the only people that hasn't!), but I'm definately very interested

Yeah im interested too, I have not played it either but from the videos I have seen it looks highly addictive.

I'm not too sure how Minecraft plays as a proper game, fighting the monsters and all that, but as a building game, it is very fun.

The game even manages to make mining, I wouldn't say fun, but not boring.

Problem is, it's not being developed by Mojang, but by 4J Studios. So this could turn out good or it could turn out very bad.

Either way, I love Minecraft! Lately it's been getting in the way of my BC2 gaming. So Addictive!

I just see Kinect being very obnoxious in this game, Minecraft involves a lot of very repetitive tasks, they aren't to bad on PC since you just hold down a button. But to mine, will I have to flail my arm back and forth? That will get old fast, really fast, as in a matter of seconds.

My understanding is you can still use a controller for the game, its not solely a kinect game or am I mistaken?

From what I've been reading, it's going to be one of those 'better with kinect' titles, that can utilise it- but it wont be manditory.

I really dont think anyone will want to stand in the middle of their lounge, lunging forward with an imaginary pick for hours on end.
