I have an e-mail attached to 2 different gamertags. i want to change which gamertag is defaulted to my account. They both have the same e-mail but i cant seem to figure out how to switch them around. There has to be a simple way to do this.i can pull up the other gamertag in a search but cant make it my default. Help!

You cant have the same email address as the sign in email for two different accounts. Its just not possible, and even if it was it would more than likely be a system error and support would have to investigate.
So right now I would suggest contacting phone support about this issue, once you can give them some info about the accounts they should be able to help as they have access to things that we on the forums dont!

You might want to make sure 100% that they are under the same e-mail. Please check the spelling of the e-mail sometimes people have e-mails that end in .co.uk and some are .com. Some people also have misspelled their e-mail addresses at the time of making
the account.
If you are one of those rare cases where the e-mail is the same on both XBOX Live accounts then contact XBOX Support via this link
