SIS VGA Install utility has stopped working. The application is not accessible in remove programmes and cannot install Windows 7 SP1

original title:Windows 7 - how can one remove SIS VGA Utility

On my Fujitsu Esprimo V5535 - I've upgraded Visat to Windows 7 following all upgrade manuals from both Fujitsu and Microsoft. I uninstalled the SIS VGA Utility, upgraded windows and installed the new SIS VGA Utility from Fujitsu that was windows 7 compatible. System upgrade downloaded and installed Windows 7 SP1, the PC rebooted and ended with a black screen (no error code displayed). The only way to acces PC was to restore system toa point before installation of SP1.

Once PC was again up and running i tried to uninstall the SIS VGA Utility but this is not possible - keep getting the error: SIS VGA Install utility has stopped working. The application is not accessible in remove programmes. I have also tried to re-install - but get the same error.

It is impossible to install SP1 and also impossible to remove the VGA utility - not the ideal situation after spending some hard earned cash to buy and upgrade :-)

HELP!!

Answer
Answer

Finally gave up and did a complete clean re-install :-)
