You may refer to these steps and check if this helps.
1-Connect your iPod to your computer by using the USB cord.
2-Click the "Start" button that is located in the left corner of the computer
screen. Select "My Computer”.
3-Double click the drive that belongs to your iPod. This drive will often have
your name followed by IPOD, such as "DANNY'S IPOD”.
4-Click the "Tools" menu and pick "Folder Options." Choose the "View" tab, and
click the circle that is next to "Show hidden files and folders." Click "Apply," followed by "OK." A folder will appear that is named "iPod_Control”.
5-Double click the "iPod_Control" folder, and you'll see several folders, including
one that is named "Music." Double click that folder, and you'll now see folders with names like "F00" and "F01." These hold the music from your iPod.
6-Click the "Edit" menu and choose "Select All." Click the "Edit" menu again and
choose "Copy”.
7-Create a folder on your computer in an area that is easy to find, such as in
My Document or My Music. Give it a name like "iPod Files" (any name will do).
8-Open the folder you just created. Click the "Edit" menu and select "Paste,"
and the music files from your iPod will begin pasting into the folder you just created. Be patient, as it can take several minutes to finish pasting the files onto your computer.
9-Click the "Edit" menu and choose "Select All." Click the "File" menu and choose
"Properties" and then the General tab. Unclick the box that is found next to "Hidden." Click "Apply" and choose to apply it to all folders and subfolders. Click "OK”.
10-Open Windows Media Player.
11-Click the dropdown menu located below the "Library" button found near the top.
Select "Add to Library”.
12-Click the "Add" button, and find the folder that holds all the music you just
copied onto your computer. Click on the folder name and then click "OK" and then "OK" again.
