I upgraded to Windows does 10 a week ago -today pc did not reboot. Says "your pc needs to be repaired. Error code 0xc000000d. I have an acer aspire and it did not come with an installation disk. Please advise how to recover. Will I lose my information
on the hard drive? Thank you.
Once you have the disc, follow the steps mentioned below andtry to rebuild the boot configuration Data (BCD).
Note:If the computer is newly purchased, then it would be best to get in touch with the computer manufacturer to get this fixed. (If it's within the warranty period).
1. Insert the Windows 10 installation media and boot the computer using the disc.
Note:You need to check the computer manual on how to set CD/DVD drive as the first boot device in the BIOS.
2. Once you boot using the Windows installation disc, on the Windows 10 installation window, click on Repair your computer.
3. Click onTroubleshootand in theAdvanced options. SelectCommand
