Alert IsaAgent Id 1130 'api.intelsa.intel.com'

getting this Alert every 5 minutes

checked older posts saying to do a clean boot to find the service responsible for that and deactivet

in a way that just saying for me to go into the services and stop the "Intel security Assist" aka IsaAgent


But that doesnt really solve the problem since if i ever reactive this service that might be something important, the problem comes back

so far what i got from checking into it, is that this service cant contact this url
 'api.intelsa.intel.com' as in Juan post
and
https://api.intelsa.intel.com/SPECloudService/v1/clientEngine/latest/windows
from the event viewer IsaAgentLog

from checking this log i also saw that i never had a problem with IsaAgent before, it suddenly started today 13/07/2019 and i have no idea why, i am not sure if its something with the windows update since my windows didnt update anything at that time(at last nothing on my event viewer)

and every place i check for that problem its always linking to something 2-3 years old, come on it cant be possible be the same problem since its not the "remote server" mentioned in these old one, none mentioned 'api.intelsa.intel.com' so please dont tell me to do a clean boot

anyone with any insight of whats happening or anything new?

After having other issues yesterday, I fixed most of them with reinstalling windows last night. Now, after that, I was checking for errors and alerts and found the same thing.

In a different forum one user said (4 years ago) that he thinks that it is an intel driver which was installed automatically by windows but in a wrong version/not neccessarily.

So I haven't done almost anything after that reinstall and the error occured, so in my case it might really come from an automatic driver update.

Edit: I disabled the service and the error stopped occuring since then. It isn't elementary for windows, no one knows what it does, but it's maybe one of some components which sends statistics and stuff to intel

It appears from your post that the problem is fixed. What service did you disable and how did you do it? This information would be helpful to others with the same problem.

In one of our Windows 10 (1903) workstations, this popped up. The system has "Intel(R) Security Assist" and "Intel(R) Security Assist Helper" services. Both services have paths pointed at ""C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\Intel(R) Security Assist\". I looked in "C:\Program Files\" as well as "C:\ProgramData\" and see nothing similar to the executable location. Checked "Common Files" folders, as well.

The troublemaker was pointed at executable "isa.exe". Running and set to Manual.

The other services was pointed at "isaHelperService.exe". Set to Automatic and Stopped.

I stopped service "Intel(R) Security Assist" and have seen no more Warnings from the log "isaAgentLog".
