Office 365 Login

I have a personal edition of Office 365. Once I get logged in, it's fine. But logging in every time is a chore, as in it takes 15 minutes.

Most Office365 login portals are for school or work it seems, and logging in there gives a "his doesn't look like a valid user ID. Make sure you typed the user ID assigned to you by your organization. It usually looks like *** Email address is removed for privacy *** or *** Email address is removed for privacy ***."

And the online help for this solution says "To resolve this issue, make sure that the on-premises UPN suffix is a verified domain, and then either wait until the next time that directory synchronization runs or force directory synchronization. "

Extremely helpful. WTH does UPN suffix mean and why should I care when just trying to log in?

Sooooo....where do I go to log in to my office 365 account if I'm a personal user? And why doesn't the organizational login that says it's never heard of an Outlook.com user email have a helpful link that says "If you have a personal Office365 account, please go here...

Once 365 Personal is installed/activated there should not be any requirement to log on, accept if using OWA (Office web Access)

Is your win logon ID the same as any 365 Account ID?

If you restart the PC are you saying you cannot Start Word itself and use it?

My credit card # is expired, so I have to change that. Additionally, I'd like to add Visio to my subscription plan.

The installed apps of Office 365 work fine.

The link #1 below is the first link to come up with you search google for Office 365 login. That page should have a very clear message that PERSONAL users of 365 should log in at a different link, and then provide that link. The correct link for personal users to manage their account is link 2 below.

Additionally, when trying to add-on Visio, I was continually taken to a page where I again needed to enter my corporate account as it turns on the Visio add-on isn't available for personal users. I learned by via chat, and then a call. And then that person wanted to transfer me to another person to add on Visio. No thanks. I don't have the time.

Total time understanding this mess of a solution and trying to purchase a product: 2 hours. I found an old Visio 2010 DVD on my shelf.  Good to go.

Whether Bing or Google, both fail to return the link you posted when I search for "manage my microsoft office 365" on either service.

See the problem? Yes, if you magically know the link, it's easy. If you don't, the search engines cannot help because Microsoft is always re-naming (Hotmail, Windows Live, Live, Outlook) and moving everything around.
