Hi Larry,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community. Your interest in Windows 10 Technical Preview is much appreciated.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

It’s possible that the cluttered files stored in the browser affect the browser’s performance or because of some virus or malware. I suggest you try the following methods and check if this helsp:

Method 1: Try clearing your browser’s cache and temporary internet files to make sure that your browser’s settings are not causing the issue. The cluttered files stored in the browser affect the browser’s performance. For assistance in clearing cache and cookies on your browsers refer to the link below:

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/reset-ie-settings#ie=ie-11

Disclaimer: The Reset Internet Explorer Settings feature might reset security settings or privacy settings that you added to the list of Trusted Sites. The Reset Internet Explorer Settings feature might also reset parental control settings. We recommend that you note these sites before you use the Reset Internet Explorer Settings feature. Also re-enable the add-ons.

Method 2: Try to delete the browsing history within the Microsoft Edge.

Open Edge>> Settings>> Clear browsing data.

Method 3: Run a virus scan using Windows Defender. Refer to the link below for more information:

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/how-find-remove-virus

Note: Applies to Windows 10 as well.

Disclaimer:  Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
