klassic skins problem

i can not find the option to switch outfits?  it not in the game options, its not in the player options in the character select screen either?  i have the skins pack and the new season pass thing?  can somebody please point me in the right direction?  do the skins only work in online multiplayer?

Hit Start when selecting a character to choose between alternate outfits. To choose alternate colors for each outfit, just hit Start again on the costume you want. Yes, they are selectable online but I would hold on using them online. PS3 is having the same troubles, so this isn't something new considering PS3 got the patch before us. Using alternate outfits online seems to cause most desynchronizations. The online works fine, otherwise. Happy fighting!

Well I can't play as klassic scorpion (it won't show up) and klassic sub-zero desynchronizes, also i can't use klassic fatalities for both of them, way to go Netherealm for your sucky online.
